Cubs

8 - 11 years, Wednesdays 7pm - 8:30pm

Cub Scouts are the most numerous section of Scouting. Within the Unit are smaller groups called Patrols, each led by a youth Patrol Leader (PL) and helped by an Assistant Patrol Leader (APL). Cubs participate in the planning and running of their meetings and other activities.

What do the leaders’ names mean?

  • Akela – is the leader of the wolf pack in the Jungle Book.
  • Hathi – is an elephant from The Jungle Book.
  • Chil – is a kite (which is a bird of prey) from The Jungle Book.
  • Shada – is a pelican from The Jungle Book.
