5 - 8 years, Mondays 6pm - 7pm

Joey Scouts are the youngest members of the Scouting movement. The emphasis in this section is placed on fun and friendship in a cooperative environment. Joeys who wish to start at 5 must have already started school.

The Joey Motto

The Joey motto is “Help Other People” (HOP).

What do the leaders’ names mean?

Roo – A kangaroo is a Joey’s mother, and Roo is short for kangaroo.
Bagheera– is a black panther from The Jungle Book.
Magpie – is a black and white native bird.
Leela – is a character from the TV show Futurama.
Sahi – is a character from the The Jungle Book.
